Bricks can be purchased in honor/memory of a Veteran, a loved one, your family's name, your company's name, bible scripture or other appropriate message.
In 2019 a vision of an Honor Pavilion came to life at the Field of Honor with a purpose to honor all KIA from the Golden Crescent area. The labor and necessary equipment to build the 24x24 pavilion was donated by Burnett Customs. Four colors of bricks were laid out on the floor of the
pavilion in a pattern. This was done by a local Boy Scout as his Eagle Scout Project. In 2020 pillars, pedestals and benches were added.
Plaques installed on the benches and pedestals were sponsored by organizations or individuals. The plaques installed on the pillars display the names of those killed in action from the 7 counties of the Golden Cresent area. In 2021 Eric Scarlett (a former Warrior's Weekend attendee)
was commissioned by the Field of Honor to design and build an eternal flame for the
pavilion.
Today the Memorial continues to be the site of many ceremonies honoring those who have served to protect our freedom and especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Let us not forget those who have served, who are serving and those who will serve.
